Paying (x402 over MCP)

Paid tools implement a two-step handshake so the agent stays in control of its wallet:

Call the tool without payment_signature → the response is a structured payment_required object with the exact x402 requirements (price, payTo, asset, nonce).
Sign the exact-scheme EIP-712 USDC authorization with your wallet (@x402/fetch for TS, x402 for Python handle this), then call the tool again with the base64 token in the payment_signature argument.
