That SEO Agent — Skills
SEO tools for any MCP-compatible AI agent. Connects to Google Search Console, GA4, PageSpeed Insights, and your site's technical layer via the Model Context Protocol.
Install as a plugin (Claude Code & Claude Cowork)
The fastest path. Bundles all 7 skills plus the That SEO Agent MCP server, and signs you in with OAuth in your browser — no API key to paste.
/plugin marketplace add thatseoagent/skills
/plugin install thatseoagent@thatseoagent-skills
On enable, your browser opens to authenticate with That SEO Agent. Tokens are stored securely and refreshed automatically. Skills are invoked automatically by Claude, or explicitly as /thatseoagent:site-audit, /thatseoagent:gsc-insights, etc.
Install in Grok
Three different things are called Grok, and they install this differently.
grok.com (chat) — add it as a custom connector:
- Open grok.com/connectors
- New Connector → Custom
- Name:
That SEO Agent. Server URL:https://thatseoagent.com/api/mcp— no trailing slash, and not the/oauth/authorizeURL - Complete the OAuth sign-in on thatseoagent.com
Then ask for it by name in a chat: "Audit example.com with That SEO Agent".
On Grok Business or Enterprise an admin has to provision the custom MCP first, from console.x.ai → Grok Business → Connectors → Other. See xAI's connector management docs.
Grok Build (CLI) — install the plugin from the marketplace once it is listed, or point Grok at the server directly today:
grok mcp add --transport http thatseoagent https://thatseoagent.com/api/mcp
Grok Build blocks a plugin's MCP server until you trust it: grok plugin install thatseoagent --trust.
Install in Cursor and Grok Bot
Once the plugin is listed on the Cursor Marketplace, install it from there. Until then, add the server as a custom remote MCP in Settings → Plugins, with the same URL:
https://thatseoagent.com/api/mcp
Grok Bot runs in the cloud, so it reaches public HTTPS servers only — there is no stdio or localhost path here, and none is needed.
Do not paste an API key into Grok or Cursor. The server speaks OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration, so these clients open a browser and sign you in. The sea_ key below is for clients that cannot do OAuth.
Manual MCP setup (other clients)
If you're not using the plugin, add the server to your MCP client's config:
{
"mcpServers": {
"thatseoagent": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://thatseoagent.com/api/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer sea_YOUR_KEY_HERE"
}
}
}
}
Get your API key at thatseoagent.com.
Built-in prompts
Three orchestration prompts are pre-loaded once the MCP is connected — no skill install required:
-
audit_site — Runs a full site audit and returns a shareable report URL.
-
find_quick_wins — Surfaces high-impact, low-effort improvements from your GSC data.
-
track_fixes — Reviews open tasks, audits the site, and creates tasks for critical issues.
Install skills individually (npx)
Prefer one skill at a time, or not using the plugin? Each skill installs standalone:

What this plugin is, and what reviews it
It is a thin package: seven skills plus a pointer at the That SEO Agent MCP server, which runs at thatseoagent.com and is not part of this repo. The tools it exposes are listed in the server card rather than here, so the list cannot go stale.
Marketplaces that carry it — Claude, Cursor, Grok Build — publish third-party plugins without vetting them for security. Read the manifests; they are four small JSON files and hold no secrets.
